Toss is preparing to enter mobile micropayments and the virtual asset business, IT Chosun reported in an exclusive.
According to financial industry sources on Oct. 16, Viva Republica, the operator of Toss, recently notified shareholders of an extraordinary general meeting and outlined a proposal to amend its articles of incorporation. The amendment would add three business purposes: telecommunications billing services, cash receipt services, and virtual asset-related business. Toss plans to hold the extraordinary general meeting on Oct. 30 to vote on the proposal.
