Stablecoin trading, collateral lending seen as key to tokenization race

Victor Jung, head of digital assets at asset manager Hamilton Lane, said the key competitive edge in the tokenization market will come from capabilities in stablecoin trading and lending against tokenized assets as collateral, according to Crypto Briefing.

Jung said the market’s core advantage lies not in individual products but in the financial infrastructure supporting them. Simply tokenizing private funds is not enough, Jung said, adding tokenized assets must be usable in stablecoin transactions and serve as collateral in lending markets.
