XRP Price Prediction: What Could XRP Be Worth Before Q4 Starts on October 1?
XRP has already swung more than 100% in 2026, and with the Fed deciding rates today and the CLARITY Act freshly defeated, the next two weeks could send the token in completely opposite directions before Q4 even begins.

XRP (CRYPTO:XRP) trades at $1.28 today, 15 days before Q4 begins on October 1. The token has already moved sharply this year, climbing from $1.84 to $2.03 before falling to $0.99. That history shows how quickly XRP can move even over a short period.
With two weeks left in the quarter, another large swing could push the token significantly higher or lower before October begins. So, could XRP finish September with a rally or another decline?
XRP Price Performance So Far in 2026?
XRP’s opening price of the year was $1.84, before the coin rallied to $2.03 by January 19 on early optimism around the CLARITY Act’s path through Congress. However, XRP spent the next seven months grinding lower as rate-hike odds built and the bill stalled in committee, breaking below $1 in August for the first time since November 2024 and bottoming near $0.99.
The token has clawed back some ground since then, climbing to $1.41 by September 7 before slipping to $1.28 today as traders position for the Fed’s rate decision this afternoon and digest yesterday’s failedCLARITY Actvote. XRP is down 30% since January 1 and roughly 50% over the past year, even after that rebound.
XRP Price Prediction For Q4 2026
XRP’s price performance over the next two weeks mostly depends on the next direction of the CLARITY Act and the Fed’s decision later today.
Bull Outlook
Two things have to go right for XRP to reach $1.5 by October 1. TheFederal Reserve’s decisionthis afternoon, if there is a hike, must clearly signal a single move rather than the start of a new tightening run.
That signal has reduced bond yields and lifted risk assets in past Fed meetings this year, and XRP tends to move harder than most major tokens once that relief shows up.
Also, a renewed push to revive the CLARITY Act in the weeks after yesterday’s failed vote would add a second leg to the move. With both factors in place, XRP could move from $1.28 to $ 1.55, a 21% gain in the two weeks before October 1.
Base Outlook
This outlook is the more likely path, especially with the Fed hiking as expected and guidance that leaves the door open to further increases, and the CLARITY Act stalled through the rest of September with no fresh vote scheduled.
XRP price would likely trade in the same $1.20 to $1.40 band it’s held since the August bounce, with occasional swings on Ripple’s own escrow activity or ETF flow data. XRP’s expected move in this outlook from $1.28 to $1.32 is a 3% gain, essentially flat heading into Q4.
Bear Outlook
This outlook needs a hawkish Fed signaling more hikes this year, paired with the CLARITY Act’s failure hardening into a longer delay rather than a temporary setback.
The factors would push Treasury yields higher and pull more capital away from non-yielding assets like XRP, and the token would likely retest the $0.99 to $1.10 zone it bounced from in August.
If this happens,XRP’s pricecould fall from $1.28 to $ 1.05, an 18% loss, putting XRP back near its year-to-date low just as Q4 begins.
What Could Push XRP Higher Before Q4?
Five separate developments could pull XRP toward the bull case instead of the base or bear case over the next two weeks.
A Dovish Signal From Today’s Fed Decision
The Fed’s decision this afternoon involves the rate move itself, and the guidance attached to it. If the Fed hikes but signals it’s done for the year, bond yields have room to ease, and risk appetite tends to return within days.
That kind of relief rally has lifted XRP harder than most large-cap tokens in past Fed meetings this year, since traders had priced in a more hawkish outcome heading into the decision.
A Second Attempt at the CLARITY Act
Yesterday’s failed vote doesn’t close the door on the CLARITY ACT for good. Senate leadership has brought bills back for a second vote within weeks of an initial failure, especially when the first attempt fell just short of the votes needed.
A renewed markup or a scheduled second vote before October 1 would give XRP the same catalyst that drove its January rally, even without guaranteed passage.
Continued ETF Inflows
XRP ETFs have recorded over $1.71 billion in cumulative inflows since launch and still hold roughly $1.4 billion in assets today.
That flow has held up even as XRP’s price fell through the summer, suggesting some of the buying is coming from investors building long-term positions rather than chasing short-term price moves. A resumption of net inflows heading into quarter-end would add buying pressure independent of the macro headlines.
An Oversold Bounce Off Key Support
XRPrebounded 42% from its $0.99 August low to $1.41 by September 7 in under three weeks, showing how quickly the token can move once it finds buyers at a support level.
XRP has held above $1.25 for most of September, and a similar bounce off that zone would put the bull case within reach even without a major news catalyst.
Can XRP Reach Our Bullish Outlook Before October 1?
XRP likely falls short of our $1.55 bull case, and as of today, we’re leaning toward the base case, with the Fed decision still hours away and the CLARITY Act’s next step still unscheduled. Reaching $1.55 requires both a dovish Fed and a credible CLARITY Act revival landing inside the same two-week window, and right now only one of those two catalysts has a clear timeline: the Fed decision this afternoon.
Our position would change if the Fed hikes with clearly dovish guidance today. That single outcome has historically driven XRP’s sharpest short-term rallies this year, and XRP wouldn’t need the CLARITY Act to make a serious run at $1.55. Watch for a rate decision statement that describes today’s move as a standalone adjustment rather than the start of a series, and a post-meeting press conference that avoids signaling additional hikes before December.
