Ten thousand XRP (CRYPTO:XRP) was worth $38,400 when the coin peaked in January 2018. The same 10,000 coins are worth $13,500 today, so the stack has lost roughly two-thirds of its value across eight years and two full crypto cycles.…
Standard Chartered predicts XRP could reach $28 by 2030, which would make 10,000 coins worth $280,000. So what could 10,000 XRP become in the next four years?
10,000 XRP Is Worth $13,500 at the Current Price
XRP trades at $1.35, so 10,000 XRP comes to $13,500. That is the base every 2030 scenario climbs from. XRP is down 56.31% from its September 2025 price and down 26.6% since January 1, though it has climbed 36.7% from the August 17 cycle low of $0.9877.
The same stack was worth about $30,900 in September 2025 and about $9,877 at the August low. A holder who bought at the January 1 opening price of $1.84 is down $4,900 on 10,000 coins, and one who bought the August low is up $3,623.
What 10,000 XRP Is Worth at Every Named Price
Multiplying a price by 62.74 billion circulating XRP gives the market capitalization the network would have to carry for that price to hold.
| XRP price | 10,000 XRP worth | Implied market cap | Source of the price |
| $1.35 | $13,500 | $85 billion | September 13, 2026 price |
| $1.84 | $18,400 | $115 billion | January 1, 2026 opening price |
| $3.65 | $36,500 | $229 billion | July 2025 cycle high |
| $5 | $50,000 | $314 billion | Common retail target |
| $10 | $100,000 | $627 billion | EGRAG ladder |
| $24.50 | $245,000 | $1.54 trillion | Schwartz’s flip-Bitcoin math |
| $28 | $280,000 | $1.76 trillion | Standard Chartered 2030 |
The bottom three rungs are prices XRP has already traded at or opened close to, and the $5 and $10 rungs come from retail convention and the chartist EGRAG. Only the top two carry a named institution or executive, with David Schwartz, Ripple’s CTO Emeritus, giving $24.50 through hisflip-Bitcoin arithmeticand Standard Chartered’s published2030 targetgiving $28.
Bitcoin(CRYPTO:BTC) carries about $1.55 trillion and gold between $28 trillion and $32 trillion. XRP at $24.50 would roughly match Bitcoin’s current size and XRP at $28 would pass it, though both stay a fraction of gold.
37 Billion XRP Are Still to Enter Circulation
Circulating supply is 62.74 billion XRP against a hard cap of 100 billion. Ripple releases about 1 billion fromescroweach month and relocks most of it, with 200 million to 400 million reaching the market. Escrow is the smart contract holding Ripple’s undistributed supply on a fixed monthly release schedule.
More coins in circulation means the same price implies a larger market capitalization. If supply grows toward 70 or 75 billion by 2030, $5 would no longer imply $314 billion. It would imply about $350 billion at 70 billion coins and $375 billion at 75 billion.
XRP near its 2018 high rode a much smaller supply than the same price would carry today, andbuyers who want the top rungshave to absorb both the price move and the coins released between now and then.
Only Two of the Seven XRP Targets Have a Source
10,000 XRP in 2030 is worth whatever price holds multiplied by 10,000, and five of the seven prices above come from retail convention, an analyst’s chart, or levels XRP has already traded. That doesn’t make them wrong, but the reasoning behind them comes off a chart and not out of a model.
XRP reclaiming $1.84 and holding above $3.65 would put $5 and $10 into serious range, because $314 billion is roughly what Ethereum carries today and $627 billion is a size the crypto market has supported before. Failing to defend $1.35 leaves the top rungs theoretical, and 10,000 XRP in 2030 close to the $13,500 it is worth now.
