Dogecoin developer ‘Junior Developer,’ with X handle ‘chromatic_x,’ has sent help requests to the DOGE community to aid in testing the next round of improvements for Dogecoin Core.
Dogecoin Core, Dogecoin’s reference implementation, is the software most commonly used to run a Dogecoin node.
In separate posts, ‘Junior Developer’ sought contributors for both documentation and software testing in two help requests.
One request calls for native Japanese speakers to review a proposed documentation change in Dogecoin Core. No development experience is required, opening the testing effort to community members who can help ensure the documentation is accurate and natural for Japanese-speaking users.
“Help wanted: native Japanese speakers to review a proposed documentation change in Dogecoin Core. No development experience required,” Junior Developer wrote alongside a GitHub pull request document that invites contributors to add their language by creating a folder, placing the translated file there, and linking it from the index. Japanese was one of the languages still missing, so this adds it.

Both calls emphasize the need for community testing in Dogecoin’s open-ntributors, developers are asking users and programmers with relevant language or operating-system experience to help identify potential issues before changes move forward
Dogecoin developers continue building
Dogecoin developers continue building, with behind-the-scenes activity culminating in a major improvement and achievement for the network.
The Dogecoin Foundation’s team successfully conducted an experimental post-quantum secure transaction on Dogecoin’s mainnet in April 2026, in line with the crypto industry’s continuing efforts to build quantum resilience following Google’s research update at the end of March 2026.
In January 2025, Dogecoin developers proposed a next-generation quantum-resistant encryption system called RE-EN (Revolutionary Encryption Network) for Dogecoin’s security infrastructure.
