Bitcoin Price Forecast: BTC Holds $73K Support as Elliott Wave Setup Targets $90K

Bitcoin (BTC) is consolidating near $77,000 after a strong advance. The pullback has cooled short-term momentum, but the broader Elliott Wave structure still points higher, while key support remains intact.

Bitcoin Extends Beyond the Previous $77K Target

In our previous forecast (see here), we expected the third wave of a five-wave advance to reach $77,000 or higher, provided BTC remained above $64,402. Bitcoin held that threshold and surged to $81,330 on August 28. We continue to track five gray waves—i, ii, iii, iv, and v—within green wave 1, with an ideal completion zone near $90,000, plus or minus $5,000.

The immediate outlook depends on $72,994, our fourth warning level for the bulls. A sustained break below this support would weaken the fifth-wave setup and raise the risk that the rally from the August low has already completed. The formal Elliott Wave invalidation level sits at $66,919 because wave iv should not overlap wave i in a standard impulse.

Bitcoin Price Forecast: $81,330 Breakout Opens the Door to $90K

For now, the decline from $81,330 appears corrective rather than impulsive, consistent with a fourth-wave pause or bull flag. A move back through the $79,000–$81,330 resistance zone would support a fifth-wave advance toward $85,200–$95,400. Conversely, a daily close below $72,994 would shift attention to $66,919 and signal a deeper retracement.
