XRP(CRYPTO: XRP) broke above key resistance Sunday, with analyst Ali Martinez flagging $1.70 as the next target.
Ali Martinez posted that XRP has confirmed a bullish breakout near $1.40, clearing resistance on the hourly chart and pointing toward the next target at $1.70.
He previously marked $1.35-$1.38 as the main demand zone after approximately 3.2 billion XRP traded within that range. Holding this area keeps the breakout intact.
The next resistance levels sit at $1.60, $1.68 and $1.86. A move above $1.86 could open a path toward $2.19, where another 3.12 billion XRP previously changed hands.
Why One Analyst Sees $50 From Here
EGRAG Crypto said on X that XRP is approaching a possible retest of its 300-week moving average, currently near $1.03 and rising.
Under his analysis, a decline toward $1-$1.10 would not automatically invalidate the bullish structure. XRP would need to reclaim the moving average and hold it before targeting higher levels.
His macro roadmap from that base:
- $1.65 — first major reclaim, confirmation improves
- $2 to $2.80 — structural resistance zone
- $15, $27, $50 — longer-term expansion targets as the channel opens
“The market may use news to create fear,” EGRAG wrote. “But structure tells us whether that fear is an opportunity,” he added.
XRP ETF Inflows Cross $100 Million
U.S. spot XRP ETFs recorded $110.49 million in net inflows during the week ending Aug. 28, crossing $100 million in weekly inflows for the first time since the week ending December 5, 2025
The latest additions lifted cumulative net inflows to $1.66 billion with total net assets reaching $1.44 billion.
On August 28 alone, XRP ETFs pulled in $26.20 million, led by Bitwise’s XRP(NYSE:XRP) ETF at $15.40 million.
