U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs recorded $225.8 million in net inflows on Thursday, marking their strongest single-day performance in 10 months and extending their winning streak to nine consecutive trading sessions.
The latest inflow brings the funds’ combined haul since August 17 to roughly $1.42 billion, highlighting a sharp increase in institutional demand for Ethereum as the broader crypto market rebounds.
Ethereum ETF Demand Accelerates
BlackRock’s ETHA led the latest wave of buying. The fund has attracted approximately $1.02 billion over the past nine sessions, accounting for about 72% of total Ethereum ETF inflows during the period.
Fidelity’s FETH also posted a strong session, bringing in $56.2 million, while BlackRock’s staked Ethereum product, ETHB, added another $20.7 million.
The momentum is particularly notable because Ethereum ETFs initially trailed Bitcoin products by a wide margin. On August 17, Ethereum funds attracted only a fraction of the money flowing into Bitcoin ETFs. By Thursday, however, the gap had narrowed dramatically.
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded approximately $242.3 million in inflows on the same day — just $16.5 million more than Ethereum ETFs.
Ethereum Faces a Key Technical Test
Ethereum was trading around $2,477, down roughly 0.5% over 24 hours but still up about 5% for the week.
Despite the strong ETF inflows, Ethereum has underperformed several major altcoins during the latest market rebound. Capital has increasingly rotated toward higher-performing assets such as XRP, Solana, Zcash and HYPE.

Ethereum is also approaching an important technical area around its 200-week moving average, a level that could determine whether the latest recovery develops into a broader trend reversal.
Strong ETF inflows provide a bullish demand signal, but sustained spot-market activity will likely be needed to keep the rally moving.
For now, the message from the ETF market is clear: institutional appetite for Ethereum is accelerating, and it is getting remarkably close to Bitcoin’s daily inflows.
