Hyperliquid Strategies is focused on accumulating HYPE, the native token of the Hyperliquid blockchain network.

<a href="https://xpertsstudio.com/public-citizen-alleges-trump-crypto-projects-cost-investors-4-7b/” title=”Public Citizen Alleges Trump Crypto Projects Cost Investors $4.7B”>Investors appeared to focus less on conventional earnings metrics and more on the rapid expansion of the company’s HYPE treasury.
Hyperliquid Strategies ended June 30 with 29.3 million HYPE, worth roughly $1.9 billion, up from the initial 12.5 million tokens.
The company reported about $553 million in treasury-related income, primarily from unrealized gains on HYPE, alongside $9.5 million in staking and validator revenue. It ended June 30 with more than $2.0 billion in assets and roughly $150 million in cash and cash-like assets and no debt.
CEO David Schamis has described the company’s position as a “fortress balance sheet,” giving it the flexibility to keep accumulating HYPE while avoiding debt-funded purchases.

Hyperliquid exposure grows after Trump’s remark
The figures already understate Hyperliquid Strategies’ current exposure.
Since closing its transaction in December, the company has raised about $647 million through equity sales.
It subsequently deployed $773.4 million to acquire another 16.5 million HYPE at an average price of $46.77, while also spending $27.8 million repurchasing its own shares.
The strategy leaves PURR increasingly sensitive to HYPE’s performance. Schamis acknowledged during Thursday’s earnings call that much of the stock’s relative outperformance has been driven by the token itself.
HYPE received another catalyst on Aug. 19, when U.S. President Donald Trump said CFTC Chair Michael Selig was:
“Working to bring Hyperliquid into the United States in a fully compliant and legal fashion.”
The HYPE token jumpedfollowing the remarks, setting a new all time high of $85.47 on Aug. 27.
HYPE tradedaround $84.67 at the time of writing, up 5% on the day and more than 53% over the past month.
The PURR stock was trading at $13.77 at the time of writing, up 19% in a day.
