US spot Ethereum ETFs recorded $192.4 million in net inflows on August 26, extending their streak to eight consecutive trading days of positive flows. BlackRock’s ETHA led the charge with $115.7 million, followed by Grayscale’s ETH and Fidelity’s FETH. Over the same period, spot Bitcoin ETFs also posted $314.3 million in inflows, marking seven straight days of gains. While BlackRock products clearly dominated fund flows across both asset classes, Ethereum ETF daily inflows remained at roughly 60% of Bitcoin’s level, underscoring the persistent institutional demand gap between the two assets.

    Key Elements
US Spot Ethereum ETFs See 8th Straight Day of Inflows at $192.4 Million

Nearly $200 million flowed into US spot Ethereum (ETH) exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in a single day, extending the streak of net inflows to eight consecutive trading sessions. BlackRock’s ETHA product accounted for more than half of the total inflows, driving the fund flows.

According to Farside Investors on August 27 (local time), US spot Ethereum ETFs recorded total net inflows of $192.4 million (approximately 270 billion won) the previous day. This extended the net inflow streak to eight consecutive trading days.

On August 25, total inflows reached $179.8 million (approximately 250 billion won), marking seven consecutive trading days of net inflows. At that time, BlackRock’s ETHA also led with $146.4 million (approximately 200 billion won), while Fidelity’s FETH took in $25.8 million (approximately 36 billion won) and ETHB received $7.6 million (approximately 10 billion won).

Over the same period, spot Bitcoin ETFs also showed strong fund flows. As of August 25, US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded total net inflows of $314.3 million (approximately 430 billion won), marking seven consecutive trading days of gains. BlackRock’s IBIT accounted for the bulk with $284.4 million (approximately 390 billion won), while Fidelity’s FBTC received $15.4 million (approximately 21 billion won), Grayscale’s BTC took in $7 million (approximately 9.7 billion won), MSBT saw $4.5 million (approximately 6.2 billion won), and Bitwise’s BITB posted $3 million (approximately 4.1 billion won) in inflows.

BlackRock Dominates Ethereum ETF Fund Flows

A standout feature of this inflow cycle is the concentration of funds in BlackRock products. For Ethereum ETFs, ETHA captured approximately 60% of total inflows, while in Bitcoin ETFs, IBIT absorbed over 90%. This reflects a continued preference among institutional investors for large-scale products with substantial assets under management and liquidity.

Fidelity and Grayscale products are also steadily attracting funds, but the gap with BlackRock remains significant. Notably, Grayscale’s ETH—unlike the former GBTC—has maintained stable inflows without any net outflows in the Ethereum ETF space.

    Market Implications

The eight consecutive days of net inflows into spot Ethereum ETFs reflect the ongoing institutional capital rotation into cryptocurrencies, alongside Bitcoin. The simultaneous streak of consecutive net inflows across both spot ETF categories is seen as a result of significantly improved institutional access following regulatory approvals.

However, Ethereum ETF daily inflows remain at roughly 60% of Bitcoin ETF levels, indicating that the institutional demand gap between the two assets persists. Analysts note that whether Ethereum ETFs can catch up to Bitcoin-level inflows will depend on asset managers’ marketing strategies and technological advancements in the Ethereum network.
