MemeToro on Friday published the first substantive Solidity code behind its crypto presale, adding 1,373 lines across 17 files in a commit titled “First fairlaunch draft”.
The BNB Chain (BNB) project’s $MT sale has raised $124,513.
Until now MemeToro’s repository held the AI system that turns collected signals into memecoin proposals, with the contracts directory listed as planned scope. The new code, built with Foundry, begins on what happens after a proposal is accepted.
A Crypto Presale Contract With No Owner Role
At the centre is FairLaunchEscrow.sol, which holds contributor funds for a single launch round. The round’s settings are fixed when it is created, and the draft contains no owner role, no administrator function and no upgrade path, so those settings cannot later be edited.
Each round can also store a fingerprint of its launch manifest, giving anyone a way to check that the rules executing on-chain match the terms published before funding opened.
Funding is fixed-rate, meaning contributors buy on the same schedule rather than through separate tiers, and the contract’s allocation arithmetic requires contributor and liquidity allocations to account for the entire supply, which leaves no room to insert a founder share inside the escrow.
Two Ways Out For Contributor Funds
Contributed funds have exactly two destinations under the current design. They pass to the execution process that creates liquidity if a launch proceeds, or they return to contributors as refunds if the required conditions are not met. There is no route to a developer wallet or project treasury, which is the destination buyers are normally asked to trust in a crypto presale.
Finalisation, claims and refunds can be triggered publicly rather than by the team, so they do not depend on MemeToro.com staying online.
The Tests Try To Break It
The accompanying suite covers contribution caps, deadlines, funding thresholds, claims and refunds, and uses randomised action sequences to check accounting invariants, including whether a user can withdraw more than they contributed.
Two further tests confirm the suite actually reaches the funded, launched, claimed and refunded states, addressing a common failure in which tests pass without ever reaching the scenario they were written for. The project’s contributor rules bar adding administrator roles or upgrade mechanisms without publicly arguing the case first.
What Is Still Missing
MemeToro’s repository labels the contracts an unaudited draft. Token deployment and liquidity execution are represented by a placeholder executor, and the AI agent does not yet generate the manifest fingerprint the escrow is built to consume.
Deployment scripts, a round factory, BNB Chain testnet deployment and an independent security review all remain outstanding, which is the gap anyone weighing the crypto presale has to price in.
