Solana (SOL) and Ethereum (ETH) have risen by similar percentage points over the last 24 hours. Both assets have rallied following a market-wide resurgence. Bitcoin (BTC) is inching closer to reclaiming the $82,000 price point. The global crypto market cap has risen 5.6% in the last 24 hours to $2.69 trillion. Other coins are following BTC’s lead as we speak. The rally comes after President Trump announced a 90-day pause on tariffs, except for China.

Solana (SOL) and Ethereum (ETH) Break Out
ETH has rallied by 9.9% in the daily charts. Despite the bullish turnaround, the asset is down by 11.1% in the weekly charts, 20.8% in the 14-day charts, 16.4% in the monthly charts, and 54.6% since April 2024.

SOL, on the other hand, has rallied 9.7% in the daily charts. Like Ethereum (ETH), SOL is also red in the other time frames. SOL is down 1.6% in the weekly charts, 17.1% in the 14-day charts, 8.5% in the monthly charts, and 32.9% since April 2024.
Which Cryptocurrency Will Come Out On Top In 2025?
Ethereum (ETH) has struggled to gain momentum over the last few years. ETH’s price is down by 67.3% from its all-time high of $4,878.26. The asset has struggled to reclaim its momentum despite an ETF approval in 2024.
Solana (SOL), on the other hand, was among the best-performing cryptocurrencies of 2024. The asset has also come a long way from its 2022 crash.
According to Changelly, Solana (SOL) could hit a maximum price of $235.45 in 2025. SOL’s price will rally by 106.7% if it hits the $235.45 target.
