Over the last 48 hours, the price of bitcoin is up about 18% to more than $77,600 as of the time of this writing. Bitcoin prices hadn’t traded above the $70,000 level since late May prior to this latest push, per Yahoo Finance AlphaSpace data.

XRP (CRYPTO:XRP) trades at $1.24 after gaining 20.7% in the past 24 hours. Thi si its biggest move since February 6, when it rose 21%. XRP has now passed USDC into fifth place by market value, and is worth $77.47 billion.

Ripple (XRP) remains in bullish hands, as price action extends above $1.16 at the time of writing on Thursday. Since Monday, the cross-border remittance token has surged by more than 20%, reflecting a steady growth in risk-on sentiment.

XRP and Stellar (XLM) extend their rallies on Thursday as improving liquidity conditions fuel a broader surge across the cryptocurrency market. XRP trades above $1.08, while XLM approaches the key $0.177 resistance level following surges of more than 10% and 9%, respectively, the previous day.
