Solana, BitGo, Fireblocks Join Ondo for Tokenized RWAs

Ondo Finance has unveiled the Global Markets Alliance, a push to open up U.S. financial markets to global investors. The effort brings together leading names in crypto infrastructure, including Solana Foundation, Bitget Wallet, Jupiter, Trust Wallet, Rainbow Wallet, BitGo, Fireblocks, 1inch, and Alpaca.

The group’s goal is to define common standards for tokenized securities and create the technical rails needed to move traditional financial products like stocks, ETFs, and mutual funds onto the blockchain.

This initiative comes ahead of Ondo’s upcoming platform, Ondo Global Markets, which will allow wallets and applications to directly offer tokenized exposure to U.S. securities, targeted specifically at users outside the U.S.

“Access to U.S. capital markets has historically been gated and inefficient,” said Nathan Allman, CEO of Ondo Finance. “Standardization is essential to unlock the full potential of tokenized securities.”

What the Alliance Aims to Solve

The Global Markets Alliance is focused on making tokenized assets more accessible and usable across different platforms. That includes setting clear standards for tokenization, improving how wallets, exchanges, and custodians work together, and boosting liquidity for real-world assets on-chain.

The idea is to make it easier for anyone with a wallet app to access and interact with regulated financial products without needing to go through traditional brokers or exchanges, especially in markets where access to U.S. securities has historically been limited.

How the Partners are Involved

Wallets like Bitget Wallet, Trust Wallet, and Rainbow Wallet will integrate Ondo’s standards, allowing users to self-custody tokenized assets directly onchain.Liquidity aggregators Jupiter and 1inch will help power trading behind the scenes, giving developers and wallets easy access to deep liquidity pools.BitGo will provide regulated custody services with off-exchange settlement to cut down on counterparty risk, much like you see in traditional finance. Fireblocks, meanwhile, will roll out its institutional-grade wallet infrastructure, giving large investors the speed and flexibility they need to trade securely.Alpaca will contribute its brokerage infrastructure, tailored to support the specific needs of tokenized securities.

What Industry Leaders are Saying

“Tokenized securities are… a foundation for the next era of global finance,” said Eowyn Chen, CEO of Trust Wallet.

“We’re at the beginning of the tokenization renaissance,” added Kash Dhanda, COO of Jupiter.

“Secure, compliant custody is a prerequisite for this evolution,” said Chen Fang, CRO of BitGo.

“Interoperable infrastructure will be the foundation for global adoption,” noted Michael Shaulov, CEO of Fireblocks.

By bringing together major players across the ecosystem, the Global Markets Alliance represents one of the most coordinated efforts yet to bring traditional finance on-chain. And with tokenized access to U.S. securities now on the horizon, the move could signal a major shift in how people around the world invest in regulated assets.
