Pepe Surges 8.5% After Trump’s Mysterious ‘Mission from God’ Photo

Memecoin Pepe (PEPE) is back in the spotlight—and this time, it’s thanks to a cryptic image posted by former U.S. President Donald Trump.

After the post, the memecoin pumped around 8.5% in just 3 hours, price reached to $0.00001512, but then it dropped 5%, to its current price.

The frog-themed token has surged over 5.59% in the last 24 hours, now trading at $0.00001451, while its market cap crossed $6.1 billion.

Pepe’s daily trading volume shot up by 38%, hitting $1.64 billion—a clear sign that retail investors and meme coin fans are diving back in.

At first, the price jump seemed random. But crypto watchers quickly linked the pump to a photo Donald Trump shared on Truth Social. In it, he’s seen walking confidently down a street, with a bold text:

“He’s on a mission from God & nothing can stop what is coming.”

That alone sparked buzz online, but what really got people talking was a tiny detail hidden in the photo. When zoomed in, you can spot a tiny frog standing upright on the left side. And for anyone in crypto, it instantly looked like the iconic Pepe meme—the same one the token is based on.

Almost instantly, the speculation started swirling:

Was this a subtle nod to memecoin culture? Was Trump indirectly endorsing Pepe? Or was it just a coincidence?

Whatever the intent, the market didn’t wait to find out. Pepe’s official X (formerly Twitter) account joined the frenzy, posting the same phrase: “Nothing can stop what is coming.”

That single line was enough to send the internet into a spiral of hype.

While there’s no direct confirmation linking Trump to the meme coin, the image and the frog’s appearance have set social media ablaze. Crypto Twitter has been flooded with screenshots, zoom-ins, conspiracy theories, and price predictions—all riding the high of another meme-fueled rally.

This isn’t the first time a meme coin has skyrocketed over cultural moments, but Pepe’s latest pump once again proves how quickly sentiment can shift in the meme coin world, especially when political figures or viral visuals get involved.

Whether or not this momentum lasts remains to be seen, but for now, the meme magic is clearly in full effect.
