Damon Sze, former Chief Operating Officer of Hantec
Markets Australia, has stepped down to become Managing Director of
TopWealthTrading, a newly launched offshore CFD brokerage focused on Asia.
TopWealthTrading operates from Australia but is
legally domiciled in Vanuatu and reportedly regulated by the Vanuatu Financial
Services Commission.
Sze Brings Years of Regional Experience to New Role
Sze’s career with Hantec began in 2018 in Hong Kong,
where he joined as a Business Development Manager and later served as the
Business Development Director.
In 2023, he relocated to Australia and became
Marketing Director of Hantec’s ASIC-regulated entity, before being promoted to
Chief Operating Officer earlier this year. His move to TopWealthTrading signals a departure from
traditional regulated environments to more agile offshore operations.
Based in Hong Kong, Sze dedicated more than thirteen years
working for cybersecurity firm Ringus Solution Enterprise Limited. He joined as
a System Engineer, and later worked as a Project Director, Business Development
Director, before his promotion as the Business Development Director.
Hantec Markets Expands Offerings
Recently, Hantec Markets introduced
round-the-clock trading for cryptocurrency contracts for difference (CFDs),
giving clients uninterrupted access to digital asset markets. The new service
went live earlier this month and is already showing signs of increased trading
activity, the firm said in a May announcement.
The rollout comes as the crypto market faces heightened
volatility, with Bitcoin recently climbing past the $100,000 mark after a
challenging April. Recent price movements have been driven by broader
macroeconomic pressures, including ongoing trade tensions and new U.S. tariff
measures.
