Japan-listed Bitcoin accumulation firm Metaplanet announced the additional repurchase of 22.46 million treasury shares worth $37.8 million to increase its Bitcoin holdings per share. The company’s cumulative share buybacks now total 96.44 million shares, equal to about 7% of its total common shares.
