Moon Kyung-ho, head of the income tax policy division at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, said the government is considering a reasonable approach to virtual asset taxation that the public can accept and that can be implemented smoothly in practice, Edaily reported.
Speaking at a forum held today at the National Assembly Library in Seoul and hosted by Democratic Party lawmakers Lee Kwang-jae, Min Byoung-dug, Park Min-kyu and Lee Kang-il, Moon said the government would listen to the views presented at the event and work toward a conclusion through close communication with relevant ministries and sufficient consultations with the National Assembly.
