Bitcoin mining profitability indicator hashprice fell 17.54% over October, Bitcoin.com reported. According to Hashrate Index data, estimated daily revenue per 1 PH/s of mining power declined to $33.18 on Nov. 1 from $40.24 on Oct. 1. Hashprice, a metric that measures expected revenue relative to mining hardware computing power, fell alongside the BTC price after the Binance hack.
Despite that decline, total Bitcoin mining revenue in October reached $1.215 billion, the highest level since November last year. Over the same period, BTC fell 7.3%. The outlet analyzed that the total network hash rate still stood at 1,082.24 EH/s and mining activity has not yet shown major disruption, though the key question is whether mining firms can remain financially resilient if profitability keeps deteriorating.
