US Ethereum spot ETFs saw a net outflow of $155.85 million on the 30th, marking a fifth consecutive trading day of capital flight. The daily outflow was the largest since the 7th of this month. BlackRock’s ETHA shed $76.64 million and ETHB lost $19.51 million, with the two products accounting for roughly 62% of total outflows, while Grayscale’s ETH and ETHE bled $34.14 million and $21.51 million, respectively. Over the same period, <a href="https://xpertsstudio.com/bitcoin-is-35-below-ath-chatgpt-ai-says-when-it-could-get-back-to-126000/” title=”Bitcoin Is 35% Below ATH. ChatGPT AI Says When It Could Get Back to $126,000″>Bitcoin spot ETFs posted a modest net inflow, a stark contrast.
Key Elements

Capital flight from US Ethereum spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) is accelerating. A net $155.85 million flowed out on the 30th (local time), marking a fifth consecutive trading day of outflows. It was the largest single-day outflow in 23 days, since the 7th of this month.
According to market data aggregator SoSoValue, the day’s net outflow was about 48% larger than the previous day’s $105.48 million. Of the 11 Ethereum spot ETFs, six saw outflows while the remaining five had neither inflows nor outflows.
The outflows were concentrated in BlackRock products. BlackRock’s ETHA shed $76.64 million, the largest single-product outflow, while the same manager’s ETHB saw a net $19.51 million exit. Combined, the two products accounted for $96.15 million, or roughly 62% of total outflows.
Grayscale did not escape the exodus either. ETH and ETHE saw $34.14 million and $21.51 million leave, respectively. Fidelity’s FETH lost $3.33 million and Morgan Stanley’s MSSE saw a net outflow of about $720,000.
| Product | Manager | Net Outflow on the 30th |
|---|---|---|
| ETHA | BlackRock | $76.64 million |
| ETHB | BlackRock | $19.51 million |
| ETH | Grayscale | $34.14 million |
| ETHE | Grayscale | $21.51 million |
| FETH | Fidelity | $3.33 million |
| MSSE | Morgan Stanley | approximately $720,000 |
| Total | 11 products | $155.85 million |
Note: The remaining five products had no net inflows or outflows
The outflow is not a one-day phenomenon. The previous day, the 29th, US Ethereum spot ETFs also bled $105.48 million, logging a fourth straight session of net outflows. At that time, BlackRock’s ETHA and ETHB together shed $87.28 million, while Grayscale’s ETHE and ETH lost $15.54 million and $5.57 million, respectively. Fidelity’s FETH, by contrast, drew a net $2.9 million — the only product to see inflows — but it reversed to a small outflow the following day.
The contrast with Bitcoin spot ETFs over the same period is also notable. As of the 29th, US Bitcoin spot ETFs recorded a net inflow of $17.2 million. BlackRock’s IBIT took in $12.8 million, Fidelity’s FBTC $10.5 million and Bitwise’s BITB $8.8 million, while Grayscale’s Mini BTC saw $15.3 million leave. While Ethereum products suffered outflows exceeding $100 million, Bitcoin products held onto a modest positive flow.
Since last month, Ethereum spot ETFs have shown repeated outflows centered on products from major managers such as BlackRock and Grayscale. The concentration of outflows in specific products suggests investors may be reducing their Ethereum exposure itself rather than rotating between managers’ products. Still, despite the five consecutive sessions of net outflows, product-level differences persist — Fidelity’s FETH, for instance, logged a small inflow the previous day.
