A high-level meeting among the South Korean presidential office, government and the ruling Democratic Party will be held on Nov. 8 to decide whether to delay virtual asset taxation, The Korea Economic Daily TV reported.
According to political sources cited by the outlet on Oct. 30, the meeting will include key officials from the presidential office, Prime Minister Han Seong-sook and Democratic Party leader Kim Min-seok. If the group decides next month to postpone the tax and related laws are revised, the implementation would be pushed back for a fourth time.
