Arbitrum said its Security Council transferred 74,559,805 ARB and 8,425 ETH from an Arbitrum One address identified as being linked to the Binance exploit into an interim freeze wallet as an emergency measure.
The Security Council said the step followed technical reviews and discussions and was carried out in a way that did not affect chain conditions beyond the fund transfer or other Arbitrum users and applications. The original holding address can no longer access the funds, which can now be moved only through further action by the Security Council or via an ArbitrumDAO governance vote. Follow-up steps will be coordinated with relevant parties.
