Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse denied market rumors that the company would scale back support for its flagship token XRP and focus instead on the RLUSD stablecoin.
According to U.Today, Garlinghouse said at the Swell conference, “We will never abandon XRP. The current momentum around XRP is very strong. RLUSD is one factor contributing to that momentum, and we see the two as highly complementary.” Garlinghouse added, “To reiterate, we will never do anything we believe is harmful to the XRP ecosystem.”
