    Perpetual futures exchange Lighter plans to apply next month for a derivatives license from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, according to Crypto Briefing.

    Lighter founder Vladimir Novakovski said the company had spent about a year in talks with regulators to prepare the filing. According to CoinMarketCap, LIT was trading at $3.94, up 23.75%.
