Selling pressure from long-term Bitcoin holders who bought near the 2025 peak is easing, according to on-chain analysis from IT Tech.
IT Tech said the share of exchange inflows from BTC held for six to 12 months was just 4.4% over the past 30 days, down sharply from 40.4% in mid-June. The figure fell from 30.9% in mid-July to 9.8% in mid-August and 3.7% in mid-September before edging up to 4.4% in mid-October. Analysts said panic selling by buyers who entered near the top appears to have largely run its course, significantly easing upside resistance. They added, however, that fresh capital inflows are essential to build further upside momentum, while new buying power in the current market remains weak.
