Mark Karpeles, former CEO of the bankrupt cryptocurrency exchange Mt. Gox, criticized Ledger for failing to respond adequately despite receiving tips for months about counterfeit hardware wallet incidents, Cointelegraph reported.
Karpeles said at least two people had reported issues involving fake devices to Ledger since December last year. Ledger replied it would launch an internal investigation, but proper follow-up action did not take place, he added.
