Bitcoin ecosystem infrastructure developer UniSat said it will add RGB protocol-based Tether (USDT) to its wallet and blockchain explorer, with plans to support USDT trading for Bitcoin-based assets in the future.
UniSat said the USDT rollout is aimed at improving liquidity for Bitcoin-native assets and expanding their use cases across payments, trading, and decentralized finance. As a first step, UniSat plans to work with Utexo to add RGB-based USDT to UniSat Wallet and UniScan. Users will be able to send and manage USDT alongside existing assets such as BTC, Ordinals, and Runes in the wallet, while the explorer will also display related assets and activity history.
