Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse said XRPL can be used to generate yield and expand institutional products by leveraging the XRP Ledger’s on-chain functionality, according to U.Today.
Speaking at a Nasdaq listing event for Evernode, an XRP strategic treasury company trading under the ticker XRPN, Garlinghouse said he expects differentiated yield opportunities to emerge both on-chain and off-chain. He added those opportunities could also support XRP’s performance, while XRPL would be used in a way that differs from other blockchains.
Evernode listed on Nasdaq on Oct. 12, according to the source text, and Ripple previously donated about 126.79 million XRP to support the listing.
