Vitalik says AI agents could become the new interface for blockchain use

Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin said at the OKX NOW event in Singapore that AI could emerge as a new user interface. Buterin said users may eventually direct AI agents to handle complex blockchain tasks instead of relying on traditional graphical interfaces, making that approach more common over time. He added that this could reduce some security risks tied to existing front ends, while also creating new challenges such as prompt injection, AI safety, and whether agents can accurately understand and execute on-chain tasks.
