The U.S. SEC has approved a filing by Cboe BZX Exchange to list a triple-leveraged Bitcoin futures product. The approved products include 3x Bitcoin and Ethereum futures ETPs managed by Volatility Shares, which seek to track three times the daily move of their futures benchmarks. The products follow a derivatives structure rather than the Investment Company Act of 1940 and do not directly hold spot assets.
