Jim Ferraioli, an analyst at major U.S. financial firm Charles Schwab, said the U.S. debt load has reached $40 trillion, exceeding the size of the overall U.S. economy, and said that could revive the “Debasement Trade,” a strategy built around hedging against currency debasement by bidding up assets, according to BitcoinTreasuries. Ferraioli added that such an environment could become fuel for Bitcoin gains as the year-end approaches.
