Japan-listed Bitcoin accumulation company Metaplanet said it reduced by about 41% the number of underlying shares tied to the 10th series of warrants held by management. The company also said it scrapped an adjustment mechanism that had automatically increased warrant volumes for shares issued on and after Sept. 1, 2025.
According to the company, the changes reduced potential warrant value by more than $220 million and increased Bitcoin holdings per fully diluted share by about 8.8%. Shares already issued or that could be issued through the exercise of the 10th series of warrants account for about 12.5% of total shares currently outstanding, Metaplanet said, adding that the ratio will decline further if additional new shares are issued.
