Goldman Sachs plans to offer its roughly $100 billion Treasury fund FTIXX to institutional crypto firms through Lynq, an institutional digital asset settlement platform, according to CoinDesk.
CoinDesk said FTIXX will be the first external fund available on Lynq, giving institutional crypto companies a new way to access a traditional Treasury fund. Trades will be handled by U.S. SEC-registered broker-dealer tZERO Securities. The outlet added that, instead of creating a tokenized version of the Treasury fund, Goldman Sachs chose to make it available to institutional crypto firms through Lynq.
