Bitget says all withdrawal requests will undergo independent verification

Bitget said it is strengthening its security framework after a recent security incident, according to Wu Blockchain.

The exchange said it has overhauled access permissions for highly sensitive systems and applied multi-step approval procedures to critical tasks. Bitget added it plans to require all withdrawal requests to undergo an independent verification process and will temporarily suspend the use of external security functions tied to the incident until recovery work is complete. The exchange also said it has revoked all existing internal system credentials and reissued new ones.
