U.S. Treasury says stablecoin issuers hold $200B in T-bills, likely to grow

U.S. Treasury said stablecoin issuers currently hold about $200 billion in short-term Treasuries and other government securities, and that amount is expected to increase further if provisions under the GENIUS Act are finalized, Cointelegraph reported.
