Social media platform X has filed a lawsuit in the UK High Court against crypto influencers including Vivek Kumar Sen and Zamyang Sherpa, alleging they used multiple accounts to artificially inflate post engagement and improperly receive at least 207,384 pounds ($278,000) from its creator revenue-sharing program, according to Wu Blockchain.
X claimed the defendants posted identical or similar content across multiple accounts and manipulated engagement metrics by liking and reposting each other’s posts while evading platform enforcement. The company said it suspended the related accounts on Aug. 18 and is seeking repayment of the funds, damages, interest and legal costs. It estimated the cost of its investigation and response at at least 75,000 pounds ($100,000).
