Argentine cryptocurrency exchange Lemon said it will withdraw from Brazil, citing steep capital requirements tied to obtaining a local license. Lemon said securing a crypto service provider license from Brazil’s central bank would require capital levels disproportionate to the size of its local business.
Lemon Card services will end on Sept. 30, and Brazilian user accounts are scheduled to be automatically closed on Oct. 16.
