Why the Ripple-Stripe Integration Matters for XRP
CoinDesk reported Thursday that Ripple updated its XRP Ledger AI Starter Kit to support the Machine Payments Protocol, a standard co-authored by Stripe and Tempo that lets AI agents pay for services automatically using XRP and RLUSD.
The update also adds the Open Wallet Standard, allowing software to manage wallets across multiple blockchains through one interface.
“XRP and RLUSD are first-class options wherever developers are building,” RippleX head of product Jazzi Cooper posted on X.
Ripple now backs both MPP and x402, the web payments standard it added in June, giving developers on either standard a path to accept payments on the XRP Ledger.
XRP Price Analysis: Key Levels to Watch
XRP is trading flat Thursday, pulling back sharply after rejecting the $1.30 to $1.32 zone that held as support through most of September.
Price now tests the $1.26 to $1.28 support band that first launched the late August breakout from $1.
RSI at 46.29 sits at its weakest reading since before the breakout, with the 20-day EMA at $1.3447 now acting as resistance overhead rather than support below.
The setup is straightforward: holding the support band keeps the recovery structure intact and gives $1.40 a realistic path. Losing it opens the door toward $1.20.

- $1.34 — 20-day EMA, now resistance
- $1.25 to $1.28 — critical support band, must hold
