Avalanche (AVAX) rose about 4.65% in 29 hours, supported by a broader crypto market rally and fresh tokenization developments involving the network.
The move does not appear to be driven by one major Avalanche-only catalyst. Instead, AVAX benefited from improving risk appetite across altcoins, while tokenization news provided an additional narrative around the network.
AVAX Rallies With the Broader Crypto Market
The wider crypto market gained during the same period, with total market capitalization rising roughly 3.75%. The altcoin market also moved higher.
AVAX gained about 4.56% over 24 hours, slightly outperforming the broader altcoin market. Its price climbed steadily from around $7.14 to $7.51 rather than showing a sudden spike.

That price action suggests the rally was largely part of a broader risk-on move rather than a single news-driven breakout.
Tokenization Adds to the AVAX Narrative
Tokenized real-world assets remain an important theme for Avalanche.
Securitize and Socios.com recently announced plans to develop regulated tokenized equity offerings representing minority stakes in professional sports teams. The initiative will use Securitize’s regulated infrastructure, with Avalanche among the blockchain networks involved in the broader tokenization ecosystem.
Avalanche already has an established connection with Securitize. The platform supports tokenized securities on Avalanche’s C-Chain, while Securitize has deployed other tokenized assets across Avalanche and additional networks.
This gives traders another reason to associate AVAX with the growing real-world asset market, although the latest partnership does not directly guarantee additional demand for the AVAX token.
Institutional Tokenization Keeps Avalanche in Focus
The tokenization narrative has also gained attention through South Korea.
Hanwha Investment & Securities has reportedly developed a tokenized securities platform on Avalanche with FairSquare Lab. South Korea’s new tokenized securities framework is scheduled to take effect in February 2027.
These developments add to a broader institutional trend around Avalanche. They do not necessarily explain the entire 4.65% move, but they provide a chain-specific narrative alongside the wider market rally.

What Is Driving AVAX Now?
The latest AVAX move appears to be a combination of two factors.
The first is the broader recovery across crypto and altcoins. The second is renewed attention on Avalanche’s role in tokenized securities and real-world assets.
There is no clear evidence in the supplied data of a major Avalanche protocol upgrade or tokenomics change that independently triggered the move.
For now, AVAX is benefiting from broader crypto strength while tokenization developments reinforce its institutional and RWA narrative.
