    Eighteen U.S. state attorneys general, including New York Attorney General Letitia James, have sent a letter to Congress urging lawmakers to vote against CLARITY, The Block reported. James argued the current bill could embolden fraudsters and strip state attorneys general of their authority to protect investors. CLARITY is set to face a key procedural vote on Sept. 15.
