The Profit of a Founder Who Sold All His Ethereum in May and Bought Five Altcoins Has Been Revealed, It’s Jaw-Dropping! It Outperformed ETH!
Jack Yi, the founder of LD Capital, known for his losses in Ethereum, stated in a social media post that the current state of the cryptocurrency market resembles the period before the strong bull run of 2020.
According to Yi, recent price movements in <a href="https://xpertsstudio.com/bitcoin-price-tests-78k-as-bearish-divergence-grows/” title=”Bitcoin price tests $78K as bearish divergence grows”>Bitcoin indicate that the uptrend is continuing.
“A Bitcoin Bull Market Doesn’t Follow a Straight Line!”
Chinese founder Jack Yi stated that Bitcoin gained value for five consecutive days as part of the uptrend that began on August 17th, and then entered a correction period lasting approximately 19 days starting from August 22nd.
Yi stated that Bitcoin is still in an uptrend and views this correction as a normal and typical one within an uptrend. He also noted that the correction occurred in a range of approximately $6,000.
Yi also emphasized that bull markets do not consist of uninterrupted and flat increases, and advised investors to avoid taking short positions in uptrends. He also recommended closely monitoring corrections and volatility on daily charts.
Yi stated that bull market signals are being seen not only in Bitcoin but also in some altcoins and tokens on a regional scale, adding that current market conditions are increasingly similar to the period before the strong rally of 2020.
Following Chinese founder Jack Yi’s assessments of a new bull market, the performance of Bankless co-founder David Hoffman’s investments, shifting from Ethereum to altcoins, has also attracted attention.
Hoffman’s Altcoin Preferences Outpace His Ethereum Investments!
As you may recall, David Hoffman, a leading advocate for the Ethereum ecosystem for the past six years, announced in May that he had sold all of his $ETH holdings. Hoffman invested his money in altcoins other than $ETH, and the significant profit he made has now come to light.
According to BlockBeats, the altcoins Hoffman bought after selling all his $ETH in May have far outperformed $ETH’s gains. Hoffman had purchased $VVV, $NEAR, $ZEC, $HYPE, and $LIT at that time.
According to the available data, Hoffman’s gains were 288% for $LIT, 121% for $ZEC, 55% for $HYPE, 55% for $VVV, and 33% for $NEAR, while $ETH’s return during the same period was approximately 17%. Thus, some of Hoffman’s preferred altcoins significantly outperformed Ethereum.
