Ethereum Price Risks 10% Drop Before Potential Rally to $3,500

• Ethereum price must hold $2,400 after another rejection near $2,450, according to analyst Ted.
• Ted says losing $2,400 could expose ETH to an 8% to 10% decline from the current support area.
• Other analysts cite $3,500 and higher targets, while dormancy flow has returned to a historical bottom zone.

Ethereum price faces renewed pressure after another rejection near the $2,450 resistance zone. Analyst Ted said ETH must stay above $2,400 to avoid a deeper decline. The level now separates the current consolidation from a possible 8% to 10% drop. Meanwhile, other traders continue presenting much higher targets for the broader market cycle.

Ethereum Price Tests $2,400 After Another Resistance Rejection

Ted said ETH touched $2,450 again, but sellers blocked the advance. A sustained hold above $2,400 would keep the recent market structure intact. A break below support could place ETH between roughly $2,160 and $2,208 under Ted’s projected decline.

The Ethereum price stayed close to support following the failed breakout. Buyers therefore need to defend $2,400 before attempting another move through $2,450. Repeated rejection at resistance shows that sellers still have active orders around that zone.

Cryptollica presented a different reading based on Ethereum’s dormancy flow. The analyst said the indicator had returned to a zone associated with historical market bottoms. Cryptollica linked that condition with earlier periods of fading attention and weakening investor conviction.

Dormancy data can show when older coins return to circulation. Low activity from long-term holders may indicate less selling from that group. Still, the reading describes holder behavior and does not confirm when a price reversal will occur.

Ethereum Price Forecasts Range From $3,500 to Above $15,000

The roadmap then placed $4,200, $5,000, and $5,900 above that level. Kucuker also said a record high could arrive before year-end, although the forecast requires stronger demand.

The long-term move could extend beyond $15,000 and treated major declines as accumulation areas. Patel referenced an earlier $1,500 to $1,600 entry zone while describing current weakness as short-term volatility.

The forecasts cover different time horizons and do not represent one setup. The Ethereum price must first reclaim $2,450 before the higher targets become relevant. Until then, $2,400 serves as the immediate boundary between consolidation and Ted’s bearish scenario.
