Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse on Thursday said making America the crypto capital of the world is “within reach” when he responded to CFTC Chairman Mike Selig’s post about the Aug.19 White House crypto meeting.
CFTC Chairman Selig had thanked President Donald Trump for hosting crypto industry leaders at the White House last month, saying the administration is ensuring the new frontier of finance gets built on American soil.
Garlinghouse replied directly, saying he was “proud to be in the room” and calling for the industry to finish the job.
The Aug. 19 meeting brought together Garlinghouse, Coinbase(NASDAQ:COIN) CEO Brian Armstrong, SEC Chairman Paul Atkins, and other industry and regulatory leaders.

The CFTC also launched its Innovation Advisory Committee, with its charter renewed on August 19 and its first meeting held the following day.
What the ETF and Derivatives Data Show
XRP(CRYPTO: XRP) spot ETFs pulled in $6.14 million in net inflows on September 3, rebounding sharply from a $7.20 million outflow the prior day, with cumulative inflows now standing at $1.68 billion and total net assets at $1.55 billion.
Bitwise’s XRP(NYSE:XRP) fund led with $2.95 million of the day’s total.
On the derivatives side, open interest jumped 8% to $3.32 billion alongside a 63% volume spike, meaning traders are actively opening new positions rather than sitting on the sidelines.
Top traders on Binance are heavily positioned long, running roughly 2 to 2.5 longs for every short.
XRP Price Analysis: Key Levels to Watch
XRP holds flat at $1.4465 Thursday after the prior session’s 8% surge, consolidating just below the $1.50 psychological resistance.
The Supertrend indicator flipped bullish at $1.40 on the breakout and has held since, confirming the reversal off the $1.30 triangle apex. RSI at 64.72 has cooled from above 78 but remains in bullish territory.
Key levels for XRP:
- $1.50 — psychological resistance, break opens path to $1.55 to $1.60
- $1.30 — triangle apex, deeper support below
