Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said the exchange is in talks with several global financial institutions to expand its cryptocurrency business in Asia.
In an interview with CoinDesk, Chen cited BlackRock as an example and reproduced the English phrase “These companies are exploring broader regional distribution of tokenized ETFs.” Chen added Bitget is speaking with global financial institutions to understand their positions and discuss potential cooperation, with especially close communication with BlackRock on distribution in Asian markets.
BlackRock, for its part, said its crypto ETPs are trading in Asia and the firm regularly works with crypto service providers on various projects. The asset manager declined to comment in detail on any Asia expansion plans.
