The beginner-friendly program requires no prior knowledge and includes roughly 80 minutes of content covering blockchain fundamentals, decentralized networks, Bitcoin, altcoins, stablecoins, smart contracts, NFTs, wallets and private keys. GoMining Academy has attracted more than 740,000 learners, with over 194,000 completing at least one course and an average rating of 4.8 out of 5 across more than 105,000 reviews. Learners can earn a completion certificate by passing a 10-question final test with at least eight correct answers. The course is free and does not require a GoMining account to access the material.
Key Elements

GoMining is widening the scope of its educational platform with a new free course aimed at people who want to understand the technology behind digital assets, not just Bitcoin mining.
The company said the “Blockchain and Crypto” program is the third free offering from GoMining Academy and is designed for beginners with no prior knowledge. The eight-lesson course runs roughly 80 minutes and walks through fundamentals such as how blockchain works, decentralized networks, and how cryptocurrencies differ from traditional money.
Since launching, GoMining Academy has drawn more than 740,000 learners, with over 194,000 people completing at least one course. Existing content has generated more than 105,000 ratings and holds an average score of 4.8 out of 5, according to company figures.
The new curriculum moves beyond mining-centric instruction. Lessons cover Bitcoin, altcoins, stablecoins, smart contracts, coins versus tokens, NFTs, wallets and private keys. It also explains the mechanics of Proof of Work and Proof of Stake, examines blockchain applications outside of currency, and considers cases where blockchain may not be the right solution. Additional material touches on mining energy demands, risks tied to wallets and keys, and takeaways from the NFT market.
Each lesson is available in video, text and audio formats. Video subtitles are offered in seven languages: English, Arabic, German, Spanish, French, Italian and Russian. Learners answer two questions after each lesson, and those who complete all eight can take a 10-question final test. A score of at least eight correct answers is required to earn a completion certificate.
Access to the educational material does not require a GoMining account. Signing in is only necessary for users who want to save their progress, take the final test and receive a certificate.
GoMining said the course is intended for several audiences: cryptocurrency holders who want more clarity on the technology behind their assets, existing GoMining users seeking additional context, and newcomers who regularly encounter terms like blockchain, smart contracts, tokens and Web3.
The education expansion reflects the company’s broader evolution from a mining-focused operation into a multi-product ecosystem. GoMining now serves more than 5.5 million users and ranks among the top-10 Bitcoin mining entities by hashrate globally, with hardware in data centers across the United States and internationally. Its model relies on tokenized hashrate through digital BTC miners, removing the need for users to buy hardware or handle maintenance.
Beyond mining, the company operates several payment and earning products. The GoMining Card allows spending of BTC, USDT, USDC and the GOMINING token wherever bank cards are accepted, with instant conversion to fiat. Simple Earn lets users grow BTC, USDT and USDC balances through auto-compounding yield without a lock-up period. Instant Funds provides on-demand liquidity in USDT or USDC using BTC or digital miners as collateral, so users do not have to sell their assets.
GoMining users can also participate in Miner Wars, a Play-to-Earn game where clans compete for BTC and GOMINING token rewards. The GOMINING token serves as the platform’s native utility token, unlocking maintenance discounts, rewards, in-game boosts and other benefits across the ecosystem.
The new course is available now through GoMining Academy at academy.gomining.com.
