Tom Lee said Ethereum could reach $6,000 if Bitcoin climbs to $150,000 and the ETH/BTC ratio rises to 0.04.

The BitMine chairman believes the CLARITY Act will accelerate institutional adoption.

Lee identified demand from Asia and institutional performance-chasing as additional catalysts for ETH.
Ethereum could climb to $6,000 under what Tom Lee says is a “conservative” market scenario, with the BitMine chairman arguing that the token remains significantly undervalued despite its recent rebound.
Speaking on the Milk Road podcast, Lee said Ethereum’s improving performance against Bitcoin could continue as AI and growing institutional adoption reshape the crypto market.
He also identified the CLARITY Act as a potential catalyst for Wall Street, claiming its passage could “supercharge” the movement of traditional financial institutions into crypto.
Tom Lee Says $6K Ethereum Could Be Conservative
Lee based his $6,000 scenario on two market variables converging.
He said the ETH/BTC ratio, which measures Ethereum’s value relative to Bitcoin, was trading at around 0.03 and should continue rising.
At a minimum, Lee expects the ratio to revisit its previous high near 0.08.
Lee calculated that a rise in the ratio to 0.04, combined with Bitcoin reaching $150,000, would put Ethereum at approximately $6,000.
“I think that’s being very conservative,” he said.
While Lee remains bullish on both assets, he believes Ethereum could outperform Bitcoin as the crypto market enters its next phase, increasingly centered on real-world asset tokenization and AI-driven commerce.
The Fundstrat co-founder described Ethereum as “vastly undervalued.
He argued that even its previous record near $5,000 failed to reflect its potential role in the future financial system.
CLARITY Act Could Accelerate Wall Street Adoption
Lee identified the CLARITY Act as one of Ethereum’s most important potential catalysts through the end of the year.
“Ethereum is going to do fine either way,” Lee said.
“But I think you’re really going to supercharge the movement if the CLARITY Act passes.”
However, Lee stressed that legislation alone would not cause Wall Street to abandon its existing systems overnight.
Financial institutions face strict regulatory requirements and layers of legacy infrastructure built through decades of acquisitions.
Even when blockchain offers a substantially faster or cheaper alternative, replacing those systems can be a slow process.
For adoption to accelerate, Lee said crypto products must provide an immediate and significant financial benefit.
