Pons, a non-custodial token launchpad on the new Arbitrum-based layer-two Robinhood Chain, has surged to $950,000 in daily protocol fee revenue, outpacing major DeFi platforms such as Jupiter and Polymarket.
The platform operates on token creation fees of 0.0005 ETH and a 1% swap fee, while directing 80% of revenue to buybacks and burns of its native token, $PONS. That helped lift its market capitalization from $60 million to around $400 million in a week. At the same time, the structure’s reliance on token burns leaves $PONS exposed to greater downside volatility if token issuance and trading volume fall sharply.
