Former Ripple CTO David Schwartz has traded barbs with a supporter of Bitcoin BIP-110 over a proposed Bitcoin hard fork, U.Today reported. The dispute centered on launching a separate chain that would change Bitcoin’s proof-of-work algorithm from SHA-256d to BLAKE2b. The BIP-110 supporter argued in English, “building a separate chain in opposition to Bitcoin Core’s direction and calling it an attack is unfair.” Schwartz pushed back, criticizing the claim and responding in English, “listen to what you’re saying.”
