South Korean prosecutors have sought a 20-year prison term for a man surnamed Park, known as “Jonber Kim,” who was indicted on fraud charges tied to a 340 billion won ($247 million) scheme, Digital Asset reported exclusively. According to the report, prosecutors on Aug. 21, during the closing hearing of the “Jonber Kim” fraud case before the 13th Criminal Division of the Seoul Southern District Court, sought a 20-year sentence and about 18.8 billion won ($13.7 million) in forfeiture for Park over alleged fraud involving PODO Coin (POD) and ATube (ATT). Sentencing for the four defendants, including Park, is scheduled for 6:00 a.m. UTC on Oct. 15.
