Since taking leadership in May, Warsh has focused more on market direction than frequent policy guidance from the Federal Reserve. Therefore, economists and traders are monitoring whether his remarks provide further details on inflation trends, interest rates, and the central bank’s operating approach.
Meanwhile, markets are also tracking how Warsh addresses economic pressures linked to inflation and Treasury market conditions. Economists are watching whether he views inflation as a result of strong economic activity or temporary price pressures from tariffs and geopolitical events.
Fed Policy Signals Draw Crypto Market Focus
Warsh’s comments on inflation remain a key area of attention before his Jackson Hole appearance. Notably, economists are looking for clarity on whether inflation conditions support higher interest rates or a different policy approach.
Additionally, markets are following developments around the Treasury Department’s bond market support plan. The plan includes Treasury buybacks after a bond selloff pushed borrowing costs higher.
However, Warsh’s colleagues have already shared stronger views on monetary policy. Cleveland Fed President Beth Hammack said the Federal Reserve should consider raising interest rates during current economic conditions.
Hammack was among three voting members who supported a quarter-point rate increase during the July meeting. The Federal Reserve instead maintained rates between 3.5% and 3.75%, marking the highest number of unified dissenting votes on a Fed decision since 2016.

Solana (SOL) has recorded the strongest weekly performance among the major cryptocurrencies listed. The asset trades at $105.57, showing a 15.7% seven-day gain despite a 0.4% hourly decline.
Additionally, XRP and BNB have maintained moderate weekly gains. XRP trades at $1.42, declining 0.1% hourly and 0.2% over 24 hours while gaining 2.6% over seven days.
BNB trades at $706.04, falling 0.1% hourly and daily. However, the asset has recorded a 4.1% weekly increase.
Stocks and Financial Market Await Warsh’s Remarks
Beyond cryptocurrencies, equity markets are also responding to expectations around Warsh’s speech. S&P 500 futures traded slightly below flat levels, while Nasdaq 100 futures declined 0.3%.
Meanwhile, Dow Jones Industrial Average futures moved slightly into positive territory before the Federal Reserve chairman’s address.
Market analyst Carl Moon reiterated that Warsh’s remarks could provide details on the Federal Reserve’s views on the economy, interest rates, unemployment, artificial intelligence, and crypto.
The analyst noted that market participants are watching whether Warsh discusses rate cuts or rate increases.
